Description
The Yellow House, lies at the heart of two of Italy's most spectacular wine routes threading the Valdobbiadene hills north of Treviso. Hundreds of small producers, this one included, stretch across dozens of miles of vineyard laden hills dotted with charming hill towns set against the mighty Dolomites. Prosecco wine is king here, and the sparkling variety has been mastered at this estate. The hamlet sits on nine acres of vineyards and is made up of three side by side townhouses. The hamlet is also the site of Venetian Risotto & Wines, cooking class hosted by the owner's wife Sabina, who is also a sommelier. In addition to being vintners and innkeepers, Salvatore, the husband is a urologist. The couple loves showing their vineyards to new friends and can arrange wine tastings, visits to local cheese or salumi producers and guided day long hikes to the Dolomites.
The pool is shared with guests of the other House (the white one).
The affordable price of Yellow House reflects its rustic simplicity. This non smoking home features wood beams, brick arches, stucco walls and age worn, cotto floors. . Maid service and meals can be arranged when booking. At a distance of 500 yards are a small market and a restaurant. The owners will gladly suggest even more countryside restaurants.
