Description
Villa Antica, a historical dwelling, is situated in the beautiful countryside near provinces of Treviso and Pordenone. It is a perfect setting for relaxing, where cicadas sing and various species of birds live and where it is easy to find tracks for cycling, horse riding, walking etc. It is a holiday in a area full of history, art and traditions, famous also for its delicious cousine and for its wines.
The villa is at the foot of the Prealps and on the border of the Cansiglio forest, un uncontaminated area of natural beauty.
From Gaiarine you can reach the beaches of north east in one hour: Lignano, Bibbione and Jesolo and the Dolomites with Cortina d’Ampezzo in two hours.
Venice, Treviso and Asolo are one hour’s drive.
There are also a lot of other interesting places to visit: Padua with the famous Scrovegni Chapel with the painting of Giotto, Verona and its Arena, Vicenza with Andrea Palladio, the Brenta Riviera with more than 400 villas built in 18th century for the venician aristocracy.
The 18th century Antica Villa is furnished with period pieces in good condition.

A large entrance hall, two sitting-rooms with comfortable sofas and armchairs, a dining-room with a table for 14 or 16 people, a library, a large well-equipped kitchen, a room for ironing and washing clothes and a toilet.
First floor

Garden
There is a park of about 3500 square metres with fruit and ancient trees and a beautiful magnolia.
You can sunbathe and have meals outside as there is the necessary garden furniture and equipment for a barbeque.
A small hill, which was the ancient ice-house, dominates the large park, an ideal playground for the children and for adults to relax.
